Rochester Hometown Christmas Parade

The Rochester Hometown Christmas Parade is annual tradition in the Rochester Area and of the Rochester Area Jaycees. The parade has grown throughout the years and is today one of the largest in the state of Michigan.

This year, the parade is on Sunday, December 4, 2011 and begins at 1:45 p.m. at the corner of Tienken and Rochester Roads and continues south along Main Street to Third Street in Downtown Rochester. The theme for the 2011 parade will be Six Decades of Christmas Joy.

The Rochester Area Jaycees will be delivering Santa’s Mailbox from Stoney Creek High School through Downtown Rochester. The Parade will be televised on Channel 7 in the Detroit Area. This is a huge event in the Rochester area and being a part of it is a great honor and privilege for our chapter.

Please plan on marching in the parade with us on Sunday, December 4th from 1:45 pm – 4:00 pm. If you would like to help with decorating the float, please come at 10:30 a.m. to the staging area at Stoney Creek High School.
