Whether you’re a current member, associate member, senator, or friend of the Rochester Area Jaycees, we hope you’ll consider supporting us for our annual Christmas Shopping Tour event. Every year, we work with the Rochester Area Neighborhood House to take underprivileged children Christmas shopping for their families at Meijer. We then bring the children to the Older Persons’ Commission where they wrap the presents, make holiday crafts, play games, and enjoy a pizza lunch. They also get a special visit from Santa, who gives them a gift of their own. Here are the various ways you can get involved:

  • Shop for presents that Santa will give to the children
  • Join us at our General Membership Meeting on Thursday, December 14th at 7:00 pm to wrap the presents purchased for the children (Rochester Community House, 816 Ludlow Ave., Rochester)
  • Sponsor one or more children ($75 a child) – all you need to do is mail us a check made out to Rochester Area Jaycees at PO Box 80161, Rochester, MI 48308 or bring it to one of our events
  • Contact one of our member for details on when and where. info@rajc.org

For more information or to let us know how you’d like to help out, please email co-chairs Jenny Sasiela at jennifersasiela@gmail.com or Maria Willet at mjwillett17@gmail.com. There is also a Facebook event posted where you can RSVP. Thank you so much for taking the time to help those in our community and bring the Christmas spirit to families in need.
