Fundraiser (Art and Apples Festival)
Join us September 9-11 at this year’s Art and Apples festival in Rochester Municipal Park. The Rochester Area Jaycees and Kiwanis Club of Utica-Shelby Township will be hosting a special fundraiser to help fund both child-centered and community-service initiatives. Additionally, a portion of the monies earned will also help support Paint Creek Center for the Arts.
The fundraiser will be a Wild Duck Derby. Individuals may purchase rubber ducks to be in the running for various donated items by local businesses. Our top three baskets are worth $400-600. There is also an assortment of smaller prizes as well. Ducks are $5 each, or you may purchase five rubber ducks for $20. The ducks will be sold during the Art and Apples festival hours on Friday (5-8 pm), Saturday (9 am-8 pm), and Sunday (9 am-12 pm). The derby will take place at approximately 2 pm on Sunday, as all purchased ducks are released into Paint Creek.
We will be selling ducks in person in the park near the east playground. (bring cash to avoid the eventbrite fee)
You dont need to be present to win.
