SATURDAY-SUNDAY, MAY 28-29, 2011 – ROCHESTER MUNICIPAL PARK
The Heritage Days Festival is coming up again at the end of May during the Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Weekend, the Rochester Area Jaycees will be once again hosting an entertainment area for kids and adults. Our highly visible area across the bridge from the police station and next to the Kiwanis Club Pavilion will be one of the most fun attractions at the festival. Just like last year, the festival is no longer run by the Heritage Committee of Rochester. It is now a city-funded festival being run by the Dinosaur Hill Nature Preserve in Rochester Hills. For the fourth year in a row, the Jaycees will be using Summit Rock Wall Adventures as its fund-raising tool for this festival. In addition to the climbing wall and Extreme Jumpers, we will also feature a dunk tank. We need a handful of people to come out on both days to help run the equipment and man the information both. We run two shifts on both days from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Please contact info@rajc.org with any questions or to sign up to help. Hope to see you all there.
